Hummus is definitely high up on the list when it comes to favourite foods. You can use it as a spread, dip or eat a scoop straight out of the tub. But if you’re like me, I’m sure buying 600 tubs of hummus a week gets a little expensive. So here is my incredible recipe that is inexpensive and delicious!
– Hummus –
2 cups cooked chickpeas, liquid reserved and set aside
2 garlic cloves
1/3 cup tahini
8 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tbsp water
6 drops tabasco sauce
paprika, to garnish
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until pureed.
- Scoop into bowl and garnish with paprika.
- Store in fridge in sealed container.
- Serve on wraps, with vegetables or just have a scoop on its own!
