Day 12 of 30

I basically live off smoothie bowls, they are so filling, healthy and delicious! I love to have them for breakfast, or anytime of day really! I’ve had to limit myself lately because it’s slightly cold to be eating a smoothie everyday in winter!

Below is my veery favourite smoothie bowl. I call it the ‘Vegan Berry Crunch.’


1 cup baby spinach

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 cup soy milk (or any other dairy-free milk alternative)

1.5 cups frozen mixed berries

0.5 frozen banana (fresh banana is fine, but you will need to add ice to your smoothie).

* 1 cup = 250 grams


Some topping I like to use are:

  1. Granola
  2. Sliced banana
  3. Sliced strawberries
  4. Chia seeds
  5. Almonds
  6. Coconut shavings


  1. Place the spinach, chia seeds, and milk in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. (This will ensure that you don’t have any gross, chewy greens in your smoothie bowl.)
  2. Add the frozen mixed berries and banana to the blender. Puree, scraping down the sides of the blender periodically, until relatively smooth.
  3. Pour smoothie into a bowl and garnish with toppings of your choice. Serve immediately.
